The Acropolis:
The hill of Acropolis, ”or the sacred rock” of the Acropolis with the ruins of the Parthenon dominates the architectural modern imitations. Of all the parts of Athens, the white monuments of marble that adorn it sparkle against the blue sky of the Ática. Delphi This is placed the northwest of approximately hundred miles of Athens, Delphi, as one thinks, for archaeologists it is one of the treasures hugest cultural of Greece. The complex includes the Temple of Apollo (to house to the famous oracle) the sacred Cave Corycian and the Spring Castalian. In the mythology, Delphi was considered to be the center of the world ”or the Bellybutton of the Earth“. Epidaurus the Asclepios sanctum in Epidaurus is a value of spiritual place that he travels in the whole world to visit. Mycenae was the legendary Atreides house, winners in the war of Troy. Placed by a small top on the low slopes of Mountain Euboea to the north of Corinth, Mycenae has been populated from around 4000 aC and the civilization prospered there until approximately 1350-1200 aC. The Mycenae ruins earlier are placed close to the modern day center Mycenae. The city has a citadel that stores the ruins of an Acropolis, a palace, Real Graves, Cyclopean Paredes and the grave of the Greek hero Agamenón. The monuments of this ancient city are simply bewildering.
Olimpia is placed in the West Peloponeso and it was the place of the first Olympic Games. Every four years athletic competitions were organized in Olimpia in the honor of Zeus. The Games begun in 776 aC and continued until Vth century aC. There is greatly to see in Olimpia with some more important monuments of the place including the temple of Zeus, Hera's Temple, the Stadium, the Bouleuterion where the athletes were taken oath, the Prytaneion (the place of the eternal flame) the Treasures, the Gymnasium and the Leonidaion (a pension that fashionable raisin of 330 aC). The Archaeological museum in Olimpia contains some attractive exhibitions.
